Truestate is made by Elysium Ventures LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. This page says what we collect, why, and what we do not do. It is written in plain words. If something here is unclear, email privacy@truestate.space.

What we collect

  • Your email address, when you join the waitlist or sign in. Sign in is by a link we email you; there is no password.
  • A record of what you do on the board: which page you opened, a task you assigned, a note you left, a decision you answered, an hours figure you set. This is the audit log. It exists so your team can see who did what.
  • Your team's work record, which is JSON files and GitHub issues in your own repository. We read them through a GitHub App you install, to show them on the board. We cache them for up to an hour. We do not copy them anywhere else.
  • Basic technical information when you use the site: the browser and device type, the page visited, and an anonymous count of visits through Vercel Web Analytics. No advertising pixels, no cross site tracking.

What we do not collect

  • We do not read your source code for any purpose other than answering a question you typed on the board, and then only inside a run that has read only access and posts its answer back to your repository.
  • We do not sell or share personal information with anyone for marketing.
  • We do not track engineers beyond the hours their sessions record, and those hours can be turned off by the team.

Where it lives

Accounts and the audit log live in a Postgres database hosted by Neon in the United States. The site and the board run on Vercel. Emails are sent through Resend. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

How long we keep it

Waitlist addresses are kept until we invite you or you ask us to remove them. Account records are kept while your team uses Truestate and deleted within 30 days of a request to close the account. Your work record is in your repository and is yours; deleting your account does not touch it.

Your choices

  • Ask us to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you by emailing privacy@truestate.space.
  • Leave the waitlist by replying to any email from us.
  • Turn hours off for your whole team with one setting in your repository's tracker configuration.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will email account holders before the change takes effect.
